I really like it. Sounds very... technoish. Nice to the ears. But you should definatly shorten up the the intro. |

my most common problem. ill end up just chopping off the first 30 seconds in audacity when i come to segue it with other tracks at a later date anyway. glad you like it Hm! Technoish... hahaha! |

I listened again and it didn't quite suck so much. You must have added more socks. |

socks are a large factor of this track. recording a socks sonic ambience is a challenge in itself. integrating the socks in with the rest of the piece is the easy part. at around 2:15 you can hear where one sock with a red toe and the day 'Thursday' emblazoned on the ankle clashes with a white Asics sports sock with a worn out heel. although its a mistake i like it and kept it in to give a 'live' sound to the piece. |

cheers cygnus im trying to keep my productions clean and bouncy rather than too 'idm' at the minute as im starting work on an album next week on which ill be working with a lot of musicians. trying to do these kinds of tracks with a live band is going to be bloody hard though as i cant even organise myself... still once ive got all the parts recorded then maybe ill set about fucking them up again :) |

you need to work a bit on the drumsounds, especially the snare. You could also try to, instead of just varying the volume on the kickdrums, vary the kickdrum sound itself after what velocity you want. Other than that it's a good track! Reminds me of some of my older tracks and it gives me nostalgia. |

Oh no you don't... I distinctly remember, in reply #02031886, an oath to never make another piece of music as long as you live... wait, I guess if you contine to work on THIS one, it is not ANOTHER, so you're good to go. But you cannot make any other music pieces until you die. |

the first 15 seconds are the best part of the song but then the real meat of the song starts and it sounds shit and the mixdown is crappy. I will say it has some interesting movements and a few tasty melodies. but it comes across as poorly planned/executed. Overall it sounds sterile, soulless and 2 dimensional. where is the space man? the SPACE? |
