"i really ROFL at that"

why do some people have to write they are laughing for real?
aren't they when they are not warning it?

Most people aren't really LOLing when they type LOL. Lol,
has, over time come to just mean "ha ha, I found that funny"
as opposed to the original meaning, "that was so funny that
I laughed out loud in real life".

"Genuine lol" clarifies that you mean the latter.

lol.

ha.
as for my usage of the word, i still use it, except i like
to stick with ha or he. if something is mildly funny you can
say heh. if its quite funny than you get write hehe, or even
hehehe. then you can move up to ha, and depending on how
much you actually laughed in real life, can move on to
hahahas or even HAHAHA. lol.

my ass is falling off because I'm laughing so hard!

My LOL's are ALWAYS "Genuine LOL"s. You just have to trust
me on it. I'm not going to type the extra shit in front of
my LOL's. It just isn't worth the pain of typing the extra
letters.

/insincere post

disguise it, when they've laughed. if you haven't, you've
never LIVED!
