congruence is a typical knowyourself/beyourself kind of thing. it sounds simple, but it's one of the most difficult things of the game a couple of things that can help, is determining what you look for in a gf. what kind of gf would you like. what are your standards. why. the more detailed you can be on these points, the more determined you'll get (and appear), which is one of the many facets of congruence. the better picture you have of who you are, what you want and what you look for in a gf, the better. in short: start with yourself. if you've got this part worked out you should start to worry about having fun and interesting conversations with girls. having rapport, building attraction, or in other words having some game. do a google search on "neil strauss style" and figure he rest out for yourself |

halfway on topic: best not send drunk text messages in the style of 'hey i'm walking around without pants, wanna go for a pint tomorrow?'. mine tend to be ignored. now really on topic: if you feel that you're shy, i'd say work on that first. find out, as cheesy as it sounds, who you really are, why you became what you are, and what you'd like to change about that. if you're not smelling of dog poo or obsessively picking your nose, just talking to girls, random chit chat, would do it. set aside any worries (does she think i'm a creep? do i look good in this shirt?), be yourself like goDel sez. oh, smile a lot. then, you could walk up to her if you see her, say hi, make a random remark about something, start a conversation. its not a bad thing to show interest in a girl, you don't have to arrange for your encounter with her to look as if it occured completely by chance (in my degenerate opinion. don't take all this serious) also, is she really half your age? |

I'm kind of shy as well, yet more then half my friends are female. I dunno, just be yourself. I used to worry in high school about acting all silly around girls, for fear they'd be offended, but I've grown out of that and I find most girls are pretty easy going and stuff. Try to find some connection you both share, like are you in a class together, do sports together or what? Then build from that. Just be yourself, because you wouldn't want to be with someone if you had to be fake would you? |
