the geeks must rise

The geeks must rise, taking their treasured books and
videogame controllers in their shaking, milk-spewing
fingers, and charge towards the TV offices! It is NOT
enough, I say, to have the odd Ken Barlow in Coronation
Street, the breif flings with Roy Cropper or Norris; no,
there must be more! Why do they insist on raping our ears
with the sounds of those women in Iceland adverts, hmm? Why
must the jolly news of ASDA's low prices come to us in a
torrent of cum spewing from the deformed mouth of an inbred
piglet? They must rise, with their books and game
controllers, and trash the tv offices, now!

Eastenders is really bad, isn't it? Coronation Street is
great, though.

That's the easy way out, sir, the easy way out! Did we win
the war by shutting off our eyes and pretending the Germans
weren't taking over the multiverse? No!

TV is of utmost importance. No better window into the
cultural zeitgeist.. TV makes us, then we make TV. It's a
sickening, gritty, gloriously tasteless medium which, like
it or not, sets society's collective agenda. Like it or
hate it.. it's still about it.. Has it dumbed us
down? Probably. Does that make it unworthy of study?
Absolutely not. Oh man what am I babbling on about. Gonna
go watch some TV.

I prefer listening to radio 4. Much better than tv. I was
prefer playing my guitar and having nothing very much to
with the cultural "zeitgeist."
