What gives? Almost every Warp CD that comes either from Warpmart or a store, I am unable to rip the tracks to my mp3 player, even though they work perfectly in my standard CD player.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Aw shit. That's messed up. They work up until about 12 minutes in, then they fuck up.

what are you using to rip? if it's windows media player, that may be the problem. try ripping with another application. itunes mp3 ripping works suprisingly well.

Actually, I was using the iTunes ripper. But it malfunctions at about 12 minutes into the CD.

I just looked up the difference between red Book and Blue Book CD's...blue books should be able to be read by red book capable CD players. Can you elaborate?

Same for me for some CDs __ when I try to play them on my laptop __ but I've never experienced such a problem with a Warp one. For example, when I try to play Marquee Moon by Television, I can except for track 3, because the CD lags during the guitar solo (at around 4min). I tried to rip the track into mp3 and it worked perfectly, I could listen to the whole third song (on mp3) without any problem. That also happened to me with another CD recently but I don't remember which one.
Sometimes the CD drive just don't recognize the CD ; it "thinks" there's nothing to read. Sometimes the problem can be solved easily with washing the CD a bit with a hankerchief.
