i'm 25, but i can feel little hints of getting old.
I like to read the newspapers, i don't like to get drunk, i
swear less, i'd rather buy a really nice meal than cds, i
care about my career,i stay in with my wife more often than
going out three times a week... I'm not saying these are
necessarily symptoms of age, but i'm definately a different
person compared to five years ago.

My sister is nearing 30, and my brother is almost 40. But
everyone in our family looks about 10 years younger than
they really are, so its all good in the hood.

You could have just said "i'm married"

It would have saved you the extra sentences, and confirmed
to us beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are indeed a
coffin dodger :)

they looked younger when they're old....

So then, what is the perfect age?

And there's never gonna be enough drugs
And I'm never ever gonna get old
There's never gonna be enough bullets
There's never gonna be enough sex
And I'm never ever gonna get old
So I'm never ever gonna get high
And I'm never ever gonna get low
And I'm never ever gonna get old

the alarm shouldn't sound before you don't want to
read newspapers or when you start voting for the people who
want to lower the gas prices and taxes.

so you think being old just means you can't sleep with young
women?

offline vveerrgg from life (Canada) on 2006-12-20 15:03 [#02019729]

well i think "can you feel it yet" meaning you want to slow
down... the aches and pains are setting in etc... so to
counter... and using my dad as an example.... who cares how
you feel... if you can catch some tail that is attractive
and half your age... then no matter how bad you feel.. you
cant be all bad.

Since I went to university September last year, I've
realised that I'm old. Being old is a good thing though.

I love reading papers, stopping in and drinking wine and
watching old films with the missus, etc.

I'm looking forward to 30, because it's a step closer to my
mid-life crisis. And that means buying a motorbike and
dressing like The Fonze.

Turned 35 last month. Not feeling old most of the time.
Sometime though I can't walk properly, or it takes that
little bit too long to stand up from sitting, or I think
"what have i done with my life" and can't think of a single
thing.
Mid-life crisis in the oven I think.

Best start saving for an underpowered sports car, xceque.

I'm 24 and this was the first year I felt neutral (rather
than positive, as I have in the past) about my new age at my
birthday. I realise it'll be only a few more years before
each year is a bad thing.

Still, it's making me appreciate things and get of my arse
and do things too.

Turned 29 last month, and at the same time I started working
out. I bought a year membership, so I can be in top shape,
and don't feel like a poop when I'm turning 30. I don't have
any old-man habits, but there are things that used to be
important that's not anymore. I'm not that keen on getting
drunk, browsing XLT and DL shitloads of music. Phisically,
I've started to get two-day-hangovers :(

always will even if im old(like 60)..

i'm 22 and i love the feeling of getting older.
pretty much what aphextriplet said,
i like reading the newspaper (comfortably mumbling about
pointless debates while drinking my morning tea),
i pretty much never get drunk anymore, simply cause i like
being sober and not have a hangover.
I had a future-life-discussion with my girlfriend the other
day and we both came to the conclusion that we want a calm,
peaceful family life.
I feel running my own full time business is enough
excitement and action for me :)

Remember me?
I used to be
Your best-time buddy
That you couldn't wait to see
We're getting old
It takes it's toll
And hearts getting broken leads to people growing cold.
