ok ok, bit of a stolen idea, sister thread to the what
makes you depressed thread, if you will. but what trivial
inconsequential things annoy the hell out of you?

* people trying to put their bank card in the reciept slot
on an atm

*ringtones

*people who dont put empty cartons/containers in the bin

*wankers who clock you waiting at a zebra crossing and dont
stop. once i chased a car down the road after this happened
sticking my fingers up and shouting cunt.

*self service at tesco. i always convince myself it will be
less hassle than dealing with some fuckwit clerk, but the
tills don't like tins, newspapers, cards or customers for
that matter.

the people who wanted to stop the building of windmills
(clean fucking energy you cunts) along the coast of norway
because it "ruins the view"

the view of fucking what?! water?!!? And who the fuck cares
about your "view" when global warming is going to flood your

more clean energy?

I agree, and I also don't think it ruins the view at all. I
think they look beautiful in any setting. Some were built
recently in my home village in Hungary, which is fairly wild
and hilly and attractive for your eyes, and the windmill
only makes it look better.

that makes no sense - i mean, clean energy.

what pisses me off is energy companies here - in brazil,
they have perfected a fuel that is oil-free and is made from
sugar, which is easy to make and clean-burning.
unfortunately, we'll never see that here, because oil
companies don't want to risk losing anything out of the
monopoly it currently owns on energy.

the worst part is that so much of our energy already is
clean.. we have lots of water energy... however, some
asshole figured it'd be better to spend money building a gas
power plant somewhere instead of spending more money on
developing windmills or more water energy...

It doesn't matter what we do. We're on one path and nothing
can stop it. Humans have the problem of being billions of
seperately operating brains. That'd be cool if there was a
motherbrain, or way to pass messages from one brains neurons
to another. Then two or more humans could operate as one
organism with a single goal. You have christmas lights stuck
in your afro there. What fucking time is it?

I usually do like rants everynow and then on my myspace but
i'll list some here:

*People talking in theaters
*Walmart Lines
*Most corny ass lyrics in electronic music such as DJ Irene
*My roommate right now
*This whole bitchery about being politicially correct at
work about Christmas.
*People buying the Wiis in a group (group 1 buys 4 Wiis,
next group buys 2 - so if your in 8th in line and they have
only 10 Wiis your fucked) so they can profit it while the
people that actually want to play it are left scratching
their assholes
*Mold. Fuckin mold gets to your food fast if you don't use
it. So i just wasted money there.
*Old coffee.
*I just recently had two 36in tvs die out...they are both
being fixed.
*People calling me while I'm on the bus. I hate talking on
the cell phone in the bus when everyone loves to listen in.
*American remake version of asian films.
*People who have cell phones and when I call them its like
5-6 people in a row that don't pick up.

reading the mundane things that "piss people off"

does it actually piss you off, or just annoy you?. because
when i imagine being pissed off, i see rage. LOL

im just imagining someone seeing old coffee and destroying
half the house, killing their family and then themselves.

theres a few.
but one that actually seems relevant to a music message
board would be FLACS.
not that i have a problem with flacs, but the people who
insist to only share flacs and absolutely ass rape anyone
whos happy to stick with mp3s. and its not only that, except
alot of the time, the flacs we're dealing with are crappy
recordings from mobile phones and such, so its not like
having a lossless file of it is going to make it any more
worthwhile, its just retarded. and yeah. these people piss
me off.

windmills look hideous and they DO ruin the view, also a
bunch of eagles on the coast of trøndelag died because of
experimental windmill placements, and eagles rule while
windmills do not. also, they do not produce very much power,
do they? i don't know, really. bottom line is, windmills are
ugly but maybe they are necessary what the hell do i know
i'm not an expert fuck off i'm leaving the boards BYE

the point isn't if they look hideous or not: they give clean
energy, and that is definitely a good thing. Also, sometimes
you have to sacrifice some eagles and seagulls and some
fucking view to accomplish something.

Windmills are going to end up like hydroelectric because of
the limited amount of places they can be put, and all of the
problems that come with them. We are going to put them up,
and then in 10 years take them down. They don't put out
enough energy to be an answer to any energy problem, but
merely exist as a cause for hippies to fight for.

what do you mean "end up like hydroelectric?" Norway is full
of hydroelectric plants; it's our biggest source of
electricity. Denmark, as you know, is full up of windmills.

I don't really care about the answer to the energy problem,
I just mean that if someone wants to create clean energy
they should be fucking allowed to do so without assholes
complaining about some stupid birds and their "view." The
answer to the energy problem is for people to use less
energy.

offline Drunken Mastah from OPPERKLASSESVIN!!! (Norway) on 2006-12-06 07:36 [#02013478]

actually, just about anything where people say that some
clean alternative to some dirty energy isn't a viable one is
stuff that pisses me off. I'm rather pacifistic and calm, so
me wanting to shout you in the face and preferably so close
that some of my spit gets in your eye is a rather extreme
reaction.

Denmark is stuffed to the brink with windmills, and i
seriously can't see anything bad about them. They are
brilliant.
They even look pretty. I get happy when i see them.

Also, we are like exporting them big time now, because we
are the best at building them. Yay!

Nothing really makes me angry. I like to think I'm fairly

anything pisses me off though, it's when I wake up late for
something. I can't stand not being on time.

yeah

and placement problems shouldn't be problems any more in the
future: it's in norwegian, but it's about a new windmill that's
being developed that can be placed out at sea, and that in
addition to normal windmill functionality, can pick up on
the energy generated from the waves if there for some reason
should be little wind out at sea one day...

Hydroelectric is being slowly dismantled in the US for the
effect it has on ecosystems. We peaked in hydroelectric
power a few decades ago when had exhausted all available
locations for plants, and now we are taking them down,
though there are still a lot in operation, we are phasing
them out.
