REALLY? I consider it to be.

It's good though, eh? Makes you want to scream? It does for
me anyways.

No, I generally hate anythink Rock, Metal, or of the sort.
But the way he "sings" and the pacing is just neat I think.

You will like Cannibal Corpse as well, they sound exactly
like them.

If you're having a metal phase, you should really check out
Ulver. It's still one of my favourite bands. They do all
kinds of stuff, but it's all mystical and beautiful.

"a quick fix of melancholy" is a brilliant album with them.

Here's a little gem:

http://www.myspace.com/candiria

They mix old school NYHC with thrash and... jazz/hiphop.
Nice time-shifts, off beat beat patterns. It's like
hardcore.. but done by people with actual musical talent.

even through the recordings really very hxc and complete
shite frost songs 'night' is probably the grooviest stompy
black metal ive ever bopped down to. when the bass drum
kicks into 4/4 mode at around 30 sec.

LAZY_night

everything else is typicaly black and gloomy.

i think he recorded that whole song himself as well.

Mago de Oz is interesting at times too. A Latin American
Satanic metal band? It's just too funny a concept to ignore.

this is gore metal.. death metal with gore lyrics kinda like
cannibal corpse and suffocation and shit like that. black
metal = burzum, darkthrone, satyricon etc

has anyone ever noticed that for every exclamation about a
certain "_____ metal" band there is always a never-ending
correcting of the genre name...?
