BOC-alike artist(s)

A couple of years ago, in an old topic about BOC, or the
similar (or perhaps it was on another site, altogether)
someone "recommended" an artist, incredibly similar to BOC.

This BOC-alike's records had similar sounds, hiphop-beats,
drones, "mysterious" sounds, nature-themes (the cd-covers
too) - my question is, is anyone familiar with what I'm
talking about?

Apparantly this "guy" had his own site on the net, where you
could listen to "pieces" of his tunes, or whatever - it's
been ages, so I can't remember the details.

If one didn't know if was BOC, you could probably not even
tell "them" apart, so they don't just sound the same, they
ARE (almost) the same - that's how similar they were.

Allright, enough details, does it ring a bell for anyone?

Thanks

Yes, it might be him.
He's changed his site, though, since last (it's been a
couple of years ago, so).

If anyone else knows of anyone that reminds you of boc
(beats, drones, etc), so much that you could in fact believe
it's them, spit it out, and we'll sort this mystery out.

thanks

Because I'm obsessed, I thought masmodmedia might be,
but it might not.

I came across Discovery of Magnetic North on ...myspace... and I really
like them, despite their heavy influences.

Fuck. Those guys (Discovery of Magnetic North) are more BOC
than BOC themselves!!!

Even the fucking photos on the page.

They are pretty good tho, i must admit.

It's also funny how all their "friends" share their
aesthetic values.

I wouldn't say machine drum sounds like boc. Maybe some
influence but I'd gear more towards prefuse 73.
