Hi,
I'd really appreciate feedback on some of my ambient tracks.
There's four on my myspace, beginning with the most melodic
(complete with vocals and violin and acoustic instruments)
through to more minimal and sparse material. Thanks.

"Sense" sounds very good. Just the kind of ambient I like;
great idea with the violin parts. I'm pleasantly surprised.

if i had to guess, i'd say this is a track by robert rich
(don't know much of his stuff, but still).

take that as a compliment, or don't.

'Sense' sounds very very good to me. Curious about the rest.

its got a nice baroque feel to it, i like that. woefully
underdeveloped though. i liked the synth at 1.05, sounds
like early tangerine dream, but then it stops why? this does
have potential, don't give up

How can you critique generic Ambient music? It sounds
"Ambient" which, actually, may defeat the point.

Think on.

You'r description of it put me off a bit, as i think most
"dark ambient" on myspace are people who don't have a clue
what they are doing, and bore me to tears.

I decided to give it a listen anyhow, and i was pleasantly
surprised. It sounds pretty good. Good sounds. But then
again, nothing that really gets my juices flowing i must
admit. Promising, i would call it.

Do you know Ulver's ambient works? I think thats what you
should strive to do. It's simply brilliant.

Go out and buy
Ulver: a quick fix of melancholy

You will not regret it.

I liked the tracks, as well, I shall look into one Ulver,
and his ambient works, and get back to you. And post my
regrets if any then.

Theres an ulver myspace

But it's not from their strictly ambient period, thats why i
really reccomend the album, a quick fix of melancholy.

Their myspace songs doesnt really do them justice.

Hi, thanks for listening, in spite of my silly use of the
term, "dark ambient". I will investigate this
recommendation. :-)

Did you like the ulver tracks, recycle, or mine? Sorry, you
didn't make it clear. :)

for those songs on myspace though.
