1kHz is the most annoying frequency in the EQ spectrum ever

Hmm, high frequency NOISE (as in a sine wave you don't want)
in recordings is really annoying.

I have to put up with the ol' 1khz sine wave every day at
work, as it's on the TX clock for all the programmes I have
to comply for Channel Five. 1Khz + VHS crackle/hum is a nice
combination though, it sounds like a Hafler Trio noise.

Something unlikely about some loosely comprehended
concept about sound

Since you work for Channel 5 could you explain why the first
few seconds of many bits of programmes, including the
credits at the end of the news are really jerky and then
then settle down instantly for no apparent reason? It
usually is only apparent on scrolling text.

That's possibly the presentation department amessin'
something up but I'm not sure to be honest, the digibetas at
our end go out fine and dandy before they reach final
transmission, but live stuff (news, weather etc.) is out of
my jurisdiction so I've no idea about the reason for the
jerky end credits on the news. Sorry boss...

Those pesky kids with their meddling technologies no doubt.
You could try emailing the customer services dept. and
they'll no doubt investigate it for you:

No biggie. I wasn't cry-myself-to-sleep worried about it,
just curious :)

Also, what's happened to Barbara Serra? She was well tasty!
:D
