could any mac users recommend me a stable chat application?


i recently downloaded yahoo messenger 3.0 and its got a
strange ability to stop sending or receiving my messages. i
dont really know what else to use apart from ive heard
trillian is good, though is this mac compatible?

maybe i will try msn again for now, it seemed very slow
running on a mac last time i tried

i know yahoo is the devils own however i only use it to chat
to a few friends who solely use yahoo and since the 3.0
update it looks a lot nicer to work with. i guess it is
just the beta stage so it should be fine once its ofiicially
finished.

I never talk to anyone that uses MSN or Yahoo, at least not
as their regular IM. EVERYONE uses AIM.

Proteus was pretty cool, back when i was a mac user
but it was a little unstable at times

but much better than the official Yahoo messenger

i've been a mac-hater for over a year now, so i'm pretty
sure that the developers of Proteus will have curbed the
bugs by now

skype always gave me trouble on the Mac
but i was using it in it's infancy on the platform
