She's great, isn't she I like the new album "Confessions on
a Dancefloor" the best. what's your favorite Madona album?
"Music" was pretty great too I liked the production and the
single in particular. American life was dreadful though, her
appalling lyrics really ruined it ("I'm not a christian and
i'm not a jew"...etc.) Silly moo.

I cannot tell whether the original post by CS2x is a
pisstake or not, but regardless, I'm going to give the token
hackneyed old perspective that her 80's stuff was top notch
but it's been rather weak and embarrassing lately etc. etc.
etc. and then leave this thread and probably forget I ever
posted in it and leave it to sink into the impenetrable
depths of the xlt's intestinal abyss.

American Life. Mirwais' production on that was superb. Some
of the best acid and glitch on that album fo sho.

Yeah, early, early Madonna was great. Can't stand anything
she has done since vogue. I respect how she climbed to the
top too., She was a true gutter rat. Amazing story really.

true, but her banal intrusive lyrics really let this one
down. Normally one can ignore them, but here they play a
prominent role in destroying the record imo.

through her career. There are a lot of songs by her I love.

She's great, I hate it when people say she's just a
hackneyed, talentless trollop who depends on the latest
"hip" producer to make her records even half listenable,
it's just not true, come on, sampling Abba?, genius, she
sure knows how to take risks, it's quality stuff all right,
heard that she once met up with Aphex, imagine those two in
the studio, wow!!!

'Frozen' is the only song by madonna that's given me
tingles. to be fair there could be other tinglers but i've
yet to hear them
