up when a pad was in use sync'd to the bpm, there were
videos on the website.

Daedelus uses a version of it and what he does with it is
immense.

Aparently its all about what software you use it with. Its
best when its something you have written for it that is
taylored towards what you want it to do.

You should be able to get that at any music store. You can
pay as little as $20 used for something like that through
craigslist, to thousands of dollars for delux piano style
midi controlers. I would budget for about $70, although they
could be had for as low as $50 new depending on where you
go.

Another alternative is the creative (yech) prodikeys, which
is a computer keyboard with a three octave midi keyboard at
the bass. They retail for about $100 if you can find them,
and work off of a PS2 port (no midi cable needed). But it
looks kind of tacky, and the provided drivers do not
work(!). Best to just plug it in and run it without trying
to install the drivers.

im happy with my BCR2000, it functions as a midi interface
aswell. Friend of mine has a monome too, and it's really
really rad.

How about I just send your mom to go pick one up for you
after she leaves my place?
