I swear the best Drum and bass Cd out is the HumanResources

release from Dieselboy and friends (Evol Intent) The second
disc "assembling the monster" is massive.

Im big into Dieselboy when it comes to drum and bass.
Panacea has a few good tracks on Low Profile Darkness
(kind of cheesy)I like the darker noisier stuff.

what are your fav artists/ releases
and have you heard the human resource release?

Dom & Roland - Industry is still my favourite ever artist
album. If you like Low Profile Darkness you should
definitely check out the Torque album released by No U Turn.
Ed Rush, Trace and Nico. Some of Ed Rush & Nico's stuff is
better than Rush & Optical (slightly different vibe though).
The Torque album has some absolutely storming tracks on it.

i love 68 million shades by spring heel jack, but it's very
easy listening compared to what you people list here.

Torque is superb! I love all sorts of NO-U-TURN stuff, as
well as the early stuff on Doc Scott's 31Records label. Some
of the stuff on prototype is fantastic too.

I really like Reborn in the USA EP. Its got some classic
tracks remixed up by some American producers and 3 of the 4
tracks are really really good. The robbie riviera one is
rubbish though!
link

I also really like The Calling VIP by tech itch. fantastic
link

And this
link
Fresh's remix of Total Science's Squash

Dom and Roland are highly rated although I prefer the older
stuff.

I really like this thing too...link. A fantastic
release by calyx, back when it was 2 people, not the solo
effort it is now.

I think I've done my record collection / music taste a huge
disservice and missed out some fantastic tunes, but my
memory is terrible!

All that No U Turn "hard" drum and bass just sounds like
heavy metal to me. It's hilarious people are still
making/listening to drum 'n' bass, it died in about 1996.
It's just some geek shit now.

all of the labels music is out on Itunes for Ipod junkies

That youtube link wasn't really that inspiring! There have
been very few decent DnB artists/songs worth getting in the
last few years, except for the small amount of decent neuro
coming out.

I might do a little collection of snippets from some
fantastic DnB and yousend it. Who knows, I may even attempt
to mix it (if I can be bothered).... you need to hear some
of the golden oldies!

In the mean time maybe a trip to
http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html the Ishkur's guide thingy. Click on the
jungle tab and have a browse of the samples.
