..anyone?

I like him.. and I want to make albums like this - where
there is a visual accompaniment for the music.

He clearly has a budget behind him, and nevermind where it
comes from.. he's a real/serious artist and this is the kind
of thing that should be supported.. anyone checked this yet?

I think he has a famous dad or maybe not.

He sucks and his music career has failed before, just like
Stella McCartney's fashion career, but there's a nice fat
inheritance to bail him out.

How funny that the topic of "Sean Lennon" didn't set the
fucking board alight.

It's an old message, so what? I love Sean Lennon's album.
It's brilliant. I don't care who his Dad was. It should be
about the music, eh?

But it's his music that sucks (IMO).

And well, I like Venetian Snares...

Just a matter of taste.

he's great, I like the way that despite the obvious handicap
of his situation he's still managed to achieve tremendous
creative, commercial and critical success.

Anyone would think that being the obscenely wealthy son of
one of the most famous musicians the world has ever known
would condemn him to a life of obscurity, meagre record
sales and general disinterest, not so

Julian is great too :D

handicap ? He has access to everything? He probably hangs
out in the extremely exensive greenwich village with his
other rich kid clove smoking chin stroking art friends. He
has it great. Ah, poor baby's dad was a beatle. If music is
good people will like it. No matter who makes it.

But the music is good, VERY good. OK, everyone has his/her
opinion. But to call an album that good sh** wasn't fair, me
think. Blew me away, Friendly Fire, did. (no pun intended)

ANYWAY, I liked the DVD too. They came up with some clever
ideas. I shall try to use some of those ideas in my own,
much, much cheaper music venture. (one lives in hope)

Ha ha, you live with your mum still.

What did she cook you for tea tonight, or hasn't she called
you down for it yet?

I'm still none the wiser what this Sean Lennon album's like,
apart from it's got great visuals, which hardly bodes well.
