Oct1st 2 of the best episodes of the original series are on
Sci Fich.
I shot an arrow into the air (and where it landed I know not
where)
and
Third planet from the sun. (this one had a twist that
mindfucked me at age 6)

I love the original series any one else have a fav episode?

i'm a huge fan of the original series. have the first season
dvd set with an episode guide for every episode ever made.
rod serling is one of my heroes!

third planet of the sun is one of the best episodes, i
think. it was adapted from a much shorter story.

"The Howling Man"

Must have seen this for the first time while half asleep or
something. Has a really strange atmosphere... and I don't
know--just seemed to be really different from most of the
other episodes. Feels disturbing for me to watch it.

Other than that, definitely "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

was howling man the one where the man let the devil out and
then spent the rest of his life hunting him down out of the
guilt of releasing that onto this world? if not, do tell

Yep, that would be the one. I'll have to see if I can catch
it again if the Sci-Fi channel has a marathon for the
holidays... if they even still do that.

The original TV series was fab! One of my favourites was
Walking Distance, a melancholy reverie on growing up and
being unable to recapture childhood - haunting indeed!
