so my trip to barcelona has been delayed 1 month. me and my
friend need to do things that month. so we were thinking
about travelling europe. so, i was wondering, what would you
guys recommend? travel by interrail? flight? maybe even
boat.

and recommendations to which countries and cities/places we
should visit. we dont want a sightseeing trip as it isnt
really the thing for us.

just some low-budget recommendations.

hitch hike, you'll meet loads of people and have interesting
conversations.. i'd go to slovenia/croatia, spain portugao
italy southern france. people are normaly keen on meeting
people from other cultures and places of the world. don't
make to much plans, just go with the flow..

thanks for the suggestion.

im thinking about; denmark, germany, poland, czech republic,
slovakia, hungary, austria, northern italy, france and then
spain.

should be nice.

I haven't been around that much, but I would really
recommend Berlin. An exciting city with a lot of contrasts.
The Circus Hostels are nice and cheap.

interrailling seems like the obvious backbone for this kind
of trip

yeah, but i've heard things about interrail, you know, that
sometimes they charge extras and all that.. on a tight
budget i cant really risk anything like that.

Relaxed and friendly. The place had a backpacker-y vibe to
it. It wasn't noisy, and the lobby contained a small kitchen
and a fridge where you could keep your own food.

With so many budget airlines on the market, flying can be
less expensive than the railways, if you know where you're
heading and buy tickets in advance.
