look for a free converter to video files to MP4. -had bought a mp3 mp4 video like an ipod. me my cousins and mates from town are thanks for it.

many thnaks,i am using this for mp3.+ but is not mp'4 for video? what i want is a soft to convert a AVI or MPEG to a WMV or..... MP4? gracie

if you have an avi with xvid and mp3 for example you should just be able to just put the material into a mp4 container using YAMB:

if certain aspects of the video aren't compatible with your ipod it gets a bit more difficult. Probably the easiest way then is to use virtualdub to open the avi and use the divx built in resizer to resize the video to something compatible and afterwards feed the avi file to YAMB and let that remux the avi to mp4
