in social situations, when it comes to others that don't share music tastes, i typically keep my music removed as far as possible; it's quite simply usually not appreciated :-) at a party last night, decided for the hell of it to add some of impakt's mp3 to a running playlist of random music playing in the background. these are people who i don't even think are into electronica - stuff like nin/tool/manson was being played. everybody's chatting away, ignoring the music. one of impakt songs come on (playlist on random), after 30 seconds several people stop talking and start asking who the music is; they like it. a few minutes later somebody else from another room who overheard tries to jump onto the laptop to work out what song was just played. dude... seriously... seek a fucking record contract or something. you've got more potential than a dead dingo's donger. |
