Anyone ever watch this show on The Discovery Channel? I
love this show... it's all about engineering and
architecture and all that... very cool...

I watch the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel, A and
E, The History Channel... I'm such a fucking geek. :-) I
love shows like that.

Yeah, I can't get enough of the doco channels. I hate when
people say TV is no good and it rots kids brains, Ive learnt
so much from Discovery Channel it's not funny.

yeah so do I... I always enjoy learning about stuff, but
half the reason I hate school is because it's stuff I have
no interest in... the discovery channel makes learning
fun!!! :)

Yup... exactly. I've learned more from television and the
internet than I have from school. A HELL of a lot more!
You've gotta be INTERESTED in what you're learning, school
just doesn't do that.

Totally true.

Has anyone seen Lonely Planet? Best freakin travel show I've
ever seen. And the presenters can be kinda funny :)

Wow! I thought I was the only one who believes they have
learnt more from TV than school, cool! =)

You know I learnt more about WW2 from Saving Private Ryan
than from school! Sad but true.

When I have some time I'll check to see if Discovery Channel
Australia show Frontiers of Construction. If not I'll keep a
look out, sounds really interesting.

I like the cool space, and UFO shows they have on there
sometimes... I remember once last year they had a three part
miniseries on about the universe and how it started and all
this... Sam Neil from Jurassic Park was in it... they showed
each part back to back to back one night, and it was really
cool...

well if you have an interest in engineering and architecture
you should like it... it's one of my favorite shows though,
I love it...

I love those space and UFO shows as well :)

There was this one show that showed lightning from space! It
looked totally amazingly awesome.

The BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs is also very good and The
Planets. And The Human Body, amazing footage.

RE: Frontiers of Construction
Well I don't really have a major interest in engineering and
architecture but that doesnt stop me from learning :) I'm
always on the lookout for new interest's!
