The synth sounds on the entire In-sides album are great. Like the beginning of The Box pt2 (track4) and Dwr Budr.

I love the cool beat in Adnans... the reversed snare drum or whatever it is, and the water drops thing... it's very cool, and interesting...

anybody know a guy called necros? he used to do mod tracking and he did one song called pooint of departure that was supposedly a remix of or inspired by the girl with the sun in her head, anyhow, that mod is a really good one.

I can't get over this song... it's amazing!!! My favorite off of In Sides... I've read in numerous reviews that it's a sad song, and it is dedicated to a woman who died, but it always sounds sunny and happy to me...

lol, better you than me! I always respond in them :]
Zombie get In-Sides. The album is flawless and perfect IMO.
The Girl with the Sun in Her Head is defintely beautiful and it reminds me of the same thing.
I wonder too if Mozart would of liked Out There Somewhere 1 & 2.
It's dedicated to Sally Harding(so the booklet says) Whomever could that be.

Waitasec Orbital are one of my favourite musical artists/groups ever, and The Girl With the Sun In Her Head my favourite song of their, but to me, this song is VERY sad. . . so damn sad. Very tragic near the end. Hard to describe, but certainly not something I would describe as sunny or happy, at least not the overall tone of the song.

Sally Harding was one of Phil and Paul Hartnoll's best friends (the two brothers, the guys of Orbital). She was a proffessional photographer and at one point Paul was dating her, although that was a long long time ago. . .
Anyway when they were producing the song, they discovered the news that she had died, and they felt that the song was what. . . she was like, so they dedicated it in Sally Harding's memory.

I dunno, it never sounded sad to me... I know it's supposed to, but it always sounds happy to me... and sunny, oh so sunny...
