Ha ha !

Yea, he's a weirdo, but a nice one. Movies are so freaky!
A friend (board member neuronaameboide) used to play in a
rock band called "Plan 9"...

I'll have to watch it. Oddly I saw it forr about £5 in
Music Zone today, what a coincidence. They had a Scanners
boxset with 1, 2 and 3 in it, which I was tempted to buy,
but I haven't seen any of them and it seemed stupid.

plan 9 from outer space, dear lord, what a fantastic film.
the acting is so fucking funny. i love the part where the
car is driving along and all passengers inside
simultaneously point at the UFO. or when the UFO "explodes"
and there's a small flame on the disc. everything about it
is great actually.

oh man i haven't watched this in such a long time... i
remember my favourite part of dialogue is when there's a
couple of policemen talking about inspector clay's death,
fuck i don't remember what they say but it is
atrociously-written, so fucking funny! classic.

Plan 69 from Outer Space! Excellent, that's like those
lovely soft porn pastiche efforts in Blockbuster like "The
Erotic Witch Hunt" and "Gladiator Eroticus"

is this it:

"[BACK TO GRAVEYARD, CLAY IS ATTACKED BY GHOUL MAN AND
VAMPIRA, FIRES A FEW SHOTS, AND IS ULTIMATELY SNUFFED, AS WE
SAY]

[BACK TO CRIME SCENE]

LT. HARPER
Sounds like Clay’s in trouble.

PATROLMAN LARRY
Bet that apparition we saw had something to do with it.

LT. HARPER
Come on. [THEY RUN OFF-SCREEN AND EVENTUALLY FIND CLAY.
LARRY CHECKS HIS PULSE] Is he dead?

PATROLMAN LARRY
Yeah. He’s messed up as bad as those two back there.
S’pose that saucer or whatever it was had something to do
with this?

LT. HARPER
Your guess is as good as mine, Larry. But one thing’s
sure. Inspector Clay is dead…murdered…and somebody’s
responsible!

LARRY
You’re in charge now, Lieutenant.

LT. HARPER
Yeah, guess I am. Kelton.

KELTON
Yes Sir?

LT. HARPER
Get back up to the car and get on the radio. Tell the
coroner he’s gotta make another trip out here.

KELTON
Well how ‘bout the lab boys?

LT. HARPER
Well who do you think we left back at the car, boy scouts?
Come on, Larry."

Classic! "Womb Raider" was one I saw (in the shop) which is
a bit unpleasant, as a title. I could do worse though, "Arse
Wide Open", for instance.
