Fucking loving this show. I can't drive and I am fucking glad I can't! LOOK AT THE RETARDS THAT DRIVE!
Plus Eddie Jordan's WIG is so fucking brilliant it deserves a show of it's own.

I actually saw this advertised in the paper and meant to watch it, but missed it. Was it a one-off, or is it a series?

It's a series. Quite literally car crash television.
I could barely make out a word of what any of the fucking spasticated contestants were saying. Like animals in a fucking zoo. Fantastic.

Shit, just had a look on IMDB and there are only 4 episodes, so I've missed half of it. I'm usually away on Monday evenings, but I'll set it to record. See you here next week to discuss it.
Looks like it's as good as you say if this dialogue is anything to go by:
Some of the dialogue from Part One "Whatchoo on the programme for, man?" "I got done for carjacking and burglary - whatchoo in for?" "I got done for trying to defraud Vodafone into a £5m sponsorship"
"Respect!"

I also don't really understand how teaching them to race will reform them. Unless you are very, very good, you don't make money racing; it is usually just a very expensive hobby. The racers I've met have been fast a fuck on the roads, so are they just training these lads to be even faster boy racers? It's also not unheard of for people to even turn to stealing cars and bikes to fund it, so quite how this will "rehabilitate" the men concerned is beyond me. Is he offering the winner a job on his mechanics team or something?
