I've done a couple of Ouija board sessions before, scared
the crap out of me!

The board had a message specifically for me, started talking
about someone no one else in the room knew, so it couldn't
have been "faked".

Then it said "2012" "annihilation" "luck", so who knows?
crazy stuff

----------------------------You're stupid.

how do you know that its a bad thing? why does everyone
automatically interpret what it "says to you" as bad?

maybe it means that in 2012 you will find an unopened copy
of Total Annihilation in the street, which is quite lucky.

Ouija boards aren't bad, but they can give you bad news as
much as good. I have done sessions where the room went ice
cold, it told us where to find things that nobody else new
of, predicted the month/year of my grandfathers death, told
us to pack up when my fundamentalist aunt would wake up so
we wouldn't be caught playing. Its some pretty heady shit.

how do you know its the board and not someone playing who is
directing it?
(you are all supposed to hold the key thing, right?)

Well, you use tests. Like where certain things were hidden
by people that we didn't know about. Of course, when it
predicts your grandfathers death 3 years before it happens
(1 year before he becomes terminally ill), or a room
suddenly drops 10 degrees in a matter of seconds, you get a
feeling that its something other than your friend playing a
joke.

fair enough, if i get the chance i will try it again, and do
tests on it like that. ive played it twice now - once on my
own and once with 3 other people. absolutely jack shit
happened both times.

How long did you give it? Sometimes it can take as much as
an hour for something to happen.

about half an hour at home, probably about an hour when with
friends

Plus, if your circle of people aren't relaxed, they will
stop it from moving.

Another point is making sure that a glass surface is within
eyeshot of the board. Mirrors and windows are fine. As well,
burn some white candles.

It only works if you believe in magic.

and im atheist, so i dont have a "soul". maybe thats why it
doesnt work, like fortune telling and when people pray for
me, it doesnt "work" on me.

It seems that there is a degree of user belief that is
necessary for it to work. Who knows, maybe it's simply a way
for a persons unconscious to manifest. Maybe it doesn't
actually communicate with spirits, I'm open to that
possibilty. Who knows. Regardless, they do seem to work in
whatever it is they do
