So I do a bi-weekly podcast about techno... I konw, it's
not IDM, but I thought a couple of ppl would get a kick
outta it. I point out where everything is (duh!) and then do
abit of an example of a track I'm working on...

I thought it was pretty neat....

thanks... teh studio is tons of fun... if it wasn't so hot
this summer I would be in there rather then anywhere
else....

and as i'm learning.. it's all about the setup... the easier
it is to get to the gear and get the sounds out there.. the
more fun it is to "work" on tunes.

btw. Staz, if you want i could email you the blueprints to
those speaker stands. *joking* normally an isolated unit
like would cost a mint. But these special ones can double as
landscape stones...

although I just say they're a highend custom construction
using rugged building material.

it's the STYLOPHONE, nub

"The Dubreq Stylophone was a miniature electronic musical
instrument invented in 1967 by Brian Jarvis. It consisted of
a metal keyboard that was played by touching it with a
stylus - each note being connected to a cheap
voltage-controlled oscillator via a different-value resistor
- thus closing a circuit and creating a sound, the sound is
similar to that of the Bontempi. Some three million
Stylophones were sold, mostly as children's toys. Rolf
Harris appeared for several years as the Stylophone's
advertising spokesman in the United Kingdom."

That's was pretty cool but you really need to ask someone to
hold the camera for you.
