jesus, as if the portals aren't enough..

"wow, great, portals, but could there also be a BlackHoleGun
and something that turns everything into vomit and something
else I haven't thought of yet?"

Neat, I chuckled when they showed that little man falling
through the infinite loop.

looks cool, but won't it get like boring after a while?
it looks a bit gimmick-ish to me.

Its a third person puzzle game. I spend a lot of time
playing puzzle games. It doesn't seem like a gimick.

I could say that about anything. Watch:

IDM music...

Sounds cool but won't it get boring after a while? Seems a
bit gimmick-ish to me.

Its not just a third person gimmick game....

Its for Half Life 2. For the PC, PS3 and Xbox360 next year.

Who needs to play the game when I can make real portals with
my own portal gun?

Imagine 10 years ago if you saw this game. You would have
shat your pants twice over.

I think the best part is the fact that you can actually look
into the portal and see the other side. Would have been lame
if it didn't do that. This game will be a mindfuck.

You could do that way back in quake 3 though :)

"prey" wasn't half as good as it could've been.

for one thing: hardly using the portal technology in a truly
creative way, which "portal" seems it will actually do.

oh.
err. i meant like put it on her knee, and another portal
under a table leg. so she looks like a hi-tech pirate.
