No, I've had no friends for a miserable decade or so. No
social acquantances; can you imagine that- I guess you can.
I have no pictures on my walls. My videogame controllers
have formed slight indentations where my hands always are.
If I was any animal other than a human, I'd like to make
friends with my fellow inhumanoids. But given that I belong
to the most fucked up anti-nature... and think about what
nature encompasses... it is everything and we are anti-it.
I want to make earth happier by causing humanities
extinction. We are in a j curve but not at the very top yet
which probably involves even more evil metal beings of our
creation, who inturn spawn something even more evil. The
universe has a a single cancer cell; earth, or possibly more
elsewhere. I hope the universe has some wicked cool immune
system warriors that are already on their way here.
Voluntary human extinction.

I hear voices
so I wrote

my father used to take a drink or two when I was young
It was then that hallucinations always dangled from his
tongue,
the skies ablaze with ladies legs he used to say,
theyre kicking from the cloud,
shoes fall from the morning haze
and splat like eggs above the crowd,
can you see them son ?

I've made some big booboos when it came to my good friends,
but hey, you live and learn right. If you lost your friends
because of something that happened, well, you'll make new
friends, and just remember not to make the same mistake
later on.

i mean we tend to 'use' online friends in convenient
fashion... i still belive it's like being freinds, just
more convenient, with a skip button.

Most of my mates are people I've known since school, I've
got a core group of about seven people who I've known since
sixth form at least.
Then there's my office workmates who I am sort of forced to
get along with, but most of them are okay. I have a couple
of pretty close friends there too.
I like meeting people like friends of friends or just at
random on a night out, I usually find that people with a
sick sense of humour are the best to get along with.

youre better friends with people after you go through
extreme experiences together like nearly dying or causing
thousands of pounds worth of damage to public property or
taking powerful drugs or all three

When you are a m2f transsexual (+lesbian), one would think
friends would be hard to come by.
annoyingly, that's not true for me :-P

I guess long-term partners can become better friends than
just acquaintances. I know I wouldn't mind if I talked with
nobody but my girlfriend.

but I suppose being present on the internets kinda means we
all have some sort of social deficit?

"but I suppose being present on the internets kinda means

why? the internet is just another medium.

it is true that you wouldn't use the internet in groups in
one room, like you might watch TV with a couple of friends,
but you do connect in some way with hundreds of people.

I don't think the internet is more antisocial by nature than
other media, really.

most of my friends don't use the internet all that mush -
some of them not at all. theres only a handful of real life
mates who i actually talk to on the net, mainly the old ones
from school.

gvarek_ + obara >

m2f (male to female) transsexual = born (supposedly, I
wouldn't know) a boy and now a girl. most transsexuals like
guys. some like girls, some both. I like girls, I'm a girl,
ergo lesbian. Looks aren't relevant. Transsexuals are often
stigmatized as men who dress up. However when you see a guy
who's dressed like a hooker. That's transvestite. And
transvestites are mostly str8 men who have a kink with
women's clothes. It turns them on.
Most often you don't know a transsexual girl/woman when you
see her, coz she doesn't stick out at all.

there's some discrimination there too, and while I'm pretty
enough to be... er.. popular, some girls aren't so
privileged. Also, even when you're popular and a pretty
girl, if word gets out that you were born a boy people
immediately assume you're a gay guy who is set on making
other guys gay by having sex with them (wtf??). So, there's
stigma in being transsexual. An added stigma for being a
lesbian (although people only know I'm lesbian these days),
and that's why I said you'd think it's hard to have friends
with all this stigma attached.

As I conclude, however, people whom you're friendly with
usually retaliate, and then you end up with superfluous
friends :-P

huge reply, in order to bust some myths about transsexuals,
sorry if I tired you. People have asked me so often..

they do still work. (check the url. copy/paste doesn't work
correctly). qrtr thought it's a bad idea though, so now the
link is dead. I'd send you the links myself, but then it's
no fun. I won't see any half-crazed hormone-induced ranting.

If some moderator decides he can take the heat, then I'll
post the links again.
