i prefer springer too. oprah is just mentally ill. if she
would be mentally ill by default i'd feel sorry for her but
she's deliberately trying to look mentally ill i can't stand
the sight of her.

offline big from lsg on 2006-07-06 08:29 [#01933014]
Points: 23730 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

it seems to come down to preferring the host or the guests
mentally ill

well, oprah show is pretty much about herself. with jerry,
the guests are sort of the point.

maybe she's white though
(there's a huge discussion on imdb about how's she's gone
white: people counting exactly how many black guests there
still are etc, it's lol, i can't find it since the
discussions don't seem to go back older then this year
though. blacks now how ricky lake)

before.

which one annoys you less though? :)
i don't watch either, any i don't know why, but usually when
i surf through channels and i come across either of those i
have a look..which usually doesn't take longer than a minute
because it is really too hard to stand by.

springer, ofcourse.

the circus has come to town!

although a really fun episode of Oprah was the Seinfeld
reunion one. the first dvd boxed set of Seinfeld was about
to come out, so the 4 main actors were on Oprah - Jerry
Seinfeld seemed to be fine, but you could see that the rest
really hated it. it was pretty uncomfortable to watch.

they're being used in scientific research, to refine a crisp
that tastes like oprah.

doesn't have much wisdom to share.

Springer was funny.
oprah was just preachy.

offline Ceri JC from Jefferson City (United States) on 2006-07-06 13:55 [#01933176]
Points: 23533 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

Oprah is irritating, overly emotional indulgent dross.
Springer is stupid, mindless entertainment.

I prefer the latter: It's more honest about what it is.

Springer is a perfect showbiz cynic. I choose him.

there is some really heavy topics in oprah now and again
though

that is why i choose oprah

offline virginpusher from County Clare on 2006-07-06 14:19 [#01933191]

Oprah has what seems like numerous brainwashed fans. Swears
and Ceri pretty much nailed it with "irritating, overly
emotional indulgent dross and preachy"

Springer is just trash that is what.... intended to be
shocking or something? I dont know. I knew a guy that went
on it.

I equally dislike both programs.

I'd rather a springer show any day....

I'd rather be at the top of the hill looking down then at
the bottom of the hill looking up. the hill representing
some self rightous persons idea of the moral correct.

it all sucks

oprah, springer, phil, tyra banks, whatever

what also sucks is that hypnotist fuck "helping" people
these days.. mackenna or something.

oprah fans appear to be there to learn something and
spingers fans are there to laugh at stupid people. i would
say it's a very diferent audience. personally i prefer
dumbasses who act like ones over dumbasses who pretend to
not be dumbasses.

I like Oprahs breasts, that is the only reason I could watch
the show. Oprah cleavage. Back in the days Springer was fun,
because of the ridiculous fights, ever since they've toned
it down I've lost interest.

i know springer knows what hes doiing but i think oprah
might actually believe shes helping people so i vote jerry

Oprah, I could be wrong, seems to hate men. If men are on
her show they are either objects of deisre like male models
or killer rapists or the father that lead a double life
crap. Never just normal good men. I could be imagining this
though. I prefer springer. Oprah is just too soccer mom.
