I think they should do a whole album together.

i be a fine beck fan, but that remix really is the best song on that whole album (deluxe version of the album, that is).
i was also gonna mention Autechre Play Weissensee Against Im Glück but dunno if thats my favourite : P

Brian Eno's version of Suede's "Introducing the band". I don't know if it's the best, it just sprung to mind. Sabres of Paradise used to do good mixes. Mind you Weatherall's remix of My BLoody Valentine's "Soon" is one of the worst. I really liked Spooky's remix of Duden by Natacha Atlas but then I don't know what the original was like and whether or not it wasn't electronic. I have not contributed very well to this thread.

"Boards of Canada's "remix" of Beck's 'Broken Drum." "squarepusher for joy division's Love Will Tear Us Apart." "aphex remix of david bowie's heroes"
> these are the only other tracks that have been listed here i know, and i don't really like them... (even though i like beck a lot, and squarepusher, aphex twin and some of david bowie's tracks very much)
some of the remixes on 'telegram' by björk are very good.

Agree 100% on the concept of your statement. I am a fan of Jenkison, but maybe only 25% of his music and I do also enjoy the original verison of that song
