 | back in the sixties (america anyway), records like these were hugely popular...  herb alpert built a career out of
 covering pop songs like this.
 
 brasil '66 is basically the original nouvelle vague.
 
 the idea is pretty old and has been done to death, but it is
 interesting that nouvelle vague takes a specific genre,
 they're newer songs that appeal to a certain younger
 generation...  their first record was fresh because it's
