there's been all this stuff about how we will reach our
maximum potential in 2012 (in terms of technology and
intelligence) and somehow destroy ourselves.

Heh, much better than Eva IMO. May depend which you see
first, or take into account which was the first made. Both
are tools and yet neither are. Finish it off, it was decent
to say the least :)

Eva was great though confusing towards the end.. I need to
see those two extra movies or whatever they are... I've got
a shitload of series to finish.. Read or Die TV, Orphen,
Vandread, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Last Exile, Boogiepop, Kage
Kara Mamorou, Pani Poni Dash, DNA2, Jubei Chan, Ragnarok and
all the Corto Maltese thingies if I can find some subs for
them...

err, yeah.. it's better to take one series at a time. that
would give me a headache ;)

don't bother with eva death and rebirth, it was just a
shitty series recap (and incoherent most of the time). end
of eva was epic. and i'm not using that word lightly.

last exile turned out really good.

this has been done before here

21/12/2012, aswell as 21/12 on any other year XD is my
birthday :)

mayan calender started around the time of first civilisation
in mesopotamia. (after nomads) and yeah, it ends on this
date.

also guy mckenna made a graph about developments in human
society, the lowest points were where there was the most
novelty (i think), high points included big technological
advancements and enlightenments, suppodely, the graph, if it
continues on same trends will reach 0 on this date.

oil reserves are set to run to run out around this time too
i believe. global warming is set to induce interlerable
atmosphere levels to support life around this time too.

here is what i think will really happen. "The awekening will
be complete by 2012 - by which time we
will have developed a triple helix, have been introduced to
our alien ancestors and have have reactivated our innate
ability to teleportation.

Finally we will find answers to ancient mysteries and
accept
that there are hidden realms despite the best attempts of
man to prove otherwise.

We will realise we have been lied to for decades or even
centuries."

this.

right now i'm listening to Link and E621 - Antacid and i
can't help but wondering what the sample says. what does it
say? it sounds a bit like dutch. and it would be something
like "ik haat je. ik word beschoten" dunno
i'm probably way off, and that's just the irony of it

the mayan calender began around the same time of
civilization and happens to finish on the 21st of december.
the calender was based around the orbit of our galaxy around
the centre of the universe.
the guy mckenna graph of human enlightenment reaches 0 on
the same date.

it's got nothing to do with calenders being out own
invention, it's about forecasts (or soemthing), that have
been translated to our calender so we can understand.

if i told you what date it was on the mayan calender you
wouldn't have a clue. although once you get used to the
mayan calender makes alot more sense. it consists of 13
months, all being 28 days. each month is an even 4 of our
weeks.

years?

666 is the number of the beast in biblical mythology, and
even that is argued, some say it's 616 (i think). a figure
which has nothing to do with time. human evolution on the
other hand...
