Today was the day of filming and i have to say it was a real fucking laugh. Angus Purden our presenter was fucking hillarious. Basically a deranged scottish gay guy running around abusing our neighbours. We dont get on with next door and he was sticking his finger sup over the fence at the old bat and all sorts, he was a real laugh. We also had Paul Haze as our expert who was also a really nice guy. I was in fact really surprised, he spent the entire day ranting about how great my music was and that i had to come do work experience with the production company. At first i thought he was just being friendly but by 7pm and after 12 hours of him insisting i try and get a job there i kinda think he was being genuine. I chatted with the sound guy who was into modeselektor and alot of german techno. Ended up getting the address for his company (the crew -cameraman and soundman - were part of seperate company) and so i am sending them my CV and stuff. all in all its been a really fun 12 hours. I had to perform one of my songs, but i had to fake it so theres me an the remote 25 twiddling nobs and what not. Who knows maybe some granny watching will be fomr Sony BMG and sign me up lol! i felt a bit fo a twat talking about my music but it was still a good laugh. the wierdest partw as having to do nod shots, wher eyou just smile and nod as though your talking. its fucking sureal. And its off putting to as Angus would do one and your just sposed to ignore him but its wierd having this guy smile and gawk at you and you just outright shut up and blank him. lots of shots of pretending to look at things one thing i had to stare at for about 20 mins was a picture of some topless porn star from the 20's. all in all a really good day. got the auction on tuesday and this time i'll take pics (i felt wierd taking photos so i only ahve about 3 form the bedroom window of a garden scene) |

this is so cool! sounds really sweet. I can't wait to see it on tv! i remember on a previous episode some woman wanted money to buy music and at the end they had a couple of cds there and they were aphex (saw1) and squarepusher (i think it was go plastic) and the episode ended playing squarepusher! |

wow thats pretty awsome :D and yeah i know tehre will be about 2 seconds of my music on the telly, thats not why the day was so much fun. I am simply surprised that a bunch of people form london working for the BBC could be so nice and ...well just fucking top guys! |

can't wait to watch this :) I usually find these sorts of programmes really dull, but this will be a good incentive to start watching them and becoming a real unemployed student. |
