creativity is failing them? this is a demo of what

sounds poo. im making it lo-fi sounding but why? bah! any

unfortunately this is my last week of college. ive got four
tunes to hand in by thursday and i cant decide on which ones
im gonna submit. also if anyone has any views on why we have
genres in music, what they mean and how do we identify the
common aspects that bind pieces of music to being regarded
as the same genre then thatd be great cos im writing an
essay on that now.

some lovely rythms going on here. It does take a while to
get where its going though. I really like it just think it
needs a slight restructuring or less of a slow buidl up! I
was kinda hoping it would drop to some really edgy big bass
thing but it suyrprised me and went all cinematic orchestra.
i love it :D

I hate choosing songs for things. I am having to cut dwn
tracks for my albuma nd it sucks cos i ahve no clue what to
put on there, I figure stuff i like people might hate and
and stuff i hate they might like. Hence my spam lol!

exact same attitude i have towards my music. i think oh wow
thats good then i play it to someone and they say 'well its
ok...' then the next track comes on which is something ive
pretty much discarded and they go 'wow this is great' and im
just sat there aghast. its the main reason i started putting
stuff on BIYC. to try and find out what people liked and
didnt like but ive had very little useful feedback from
that.

Yeah, I really like knowing what people think of my stuff
whether they love it or hate (usually they hate it hehe) I
dunno its kinda part of the fun having people listen and
tell youw hat they think. Almost like a final test.

I like this one, it sounds unique. Maybe a little tired
sounding towards the end. Also, it reminds me of meat beat
manifesto, when they make good music

if you made the drums from banging on stuff and made it in a
take instead of sequencing, this'd be great! you should
layer several tracks.. just bang on whatever you find with
pens or something!

mastah thats what id love to do but my setup is non
existant. im so broke at the moment ive had to sell all my
gear and that hurts. all the guitar is recorded through old
headphones just plugged in to the mic socket on my computer.
ill see what i can whip up though! ill have to do the
washing up and make a pots and pans drum kit
