here's a link to yet another article about
myspace terms and conditions. People seem to be having a cow
about them, what do you people think?

player though and try to say it's theirs. "you uploaded it,
its ours! raw-haw-ha-hahahaha!"

Myspace are actually amaassing the worlds media and
eventually they will own so much they will be a super group
called TOM AND THE MAYSPACE QUIZZTET and then they are going
to come to a governmental power via the art of
misinformation because all the media will belong to them and
we are all breast fed what is true and false by the media
and so they will install a totalitarian dictatorship where
by you all be turned into slut monkeys and forced to to live
insular lives where you can ONLY communicate via a
flickering screen in a darkened room and ypour only social
intewraction will be the drawl of monotous toil from 9 to
five for the corporate media whore that is myspace tom's
genitals!

points for noticing the lack of commas and full stops, it
seems Myspace will outlaw them in the future and spelling
will be banned as well everyone will b forcd 2 type lyk dis
!

I like MySpace, it keeps the Emo kids off the streets and in
their darkened computer rooms.

Wouldn't you just say "I didn't give anyone the right to
upload my music, furthemore you are illegally distributing
it, now fuck off, digger"?

alex jones might wear a tinfoil hat, and like someone hear
said, it is a bit sensationalist. BUT, he and his infowars
team do ask the the right kind of questions. conspiracy
theorists maybe, but if you think 'it'll never happen'.....
well thats what will cause it to happen:

MySpace isn't cool, it isn't hip and it isn't trendy. It
represents a cyber trojan horse and the media elite's last
gasp effort to reclaim control of the Internet and sink it
with a stranglehold of regulation, control and censorship.

Since Rupert Murdoch's $580 Million acquisition of MySpace
in July 2005, it has come from total obscurity to now being
the 8th most visited website in the world, receiving half as
many page hits as Google, despite the fact that on first
appearance it looks like a 5-year-old's picture scrap and
scribble book.

MySpace is the new mobile phone. If you don't have a MySpace
account then you belong to some kind of culturally shunned
underclass.

What most of the trendy wendy's remain blissfully unaware of
is the fact that MySpace is Rupert Murdoch's battle axe for
shaping a future Internet environment whereby electronic
dissent, whether it be against corporations or government,
will not tolerated and freedom of e-speech will cease to
exist.

MySpace has been caught shutting down blogs critical of
itself and other Murdoch owned companies. They even had the
audacity to censor links to completely different websites
when clicking through for MySpace. When 600 MySpace users
complained, MySpace deleted the blog forum that the
complaints were posted on. Taking their inspiration from
Communist China, MySpace regularly uses blanket censorship
to block out words like 'God'.

The sublicensing bit is dodgy but the rest seems to cover
them reproducing your material on their site.
If it wasn't for the T&C's you could upload a track, and
then say "Wooah, Myspace, the hell you doing playing my
tracks? You owe me $30,000,000,000"

I'm sure if Rupert Murdoch wanted some crappy garage punk or
late in the day Electroclash music for some "edgy"
advertising campaign he'd spend $20 on getting some session
musicians in, not 20 years trawling through a billion dodgy
profiles.

You're using their site, they have a right to delete
comments, like on XLT the mods might do. I don't know how
Alex Jones in his tinfoil hate goes from some (admitedly
loathsome) media baron predictably censoring his own web
site, to China scale repression on an Internet wide scale.

its some bullshit that they can do that just by you posting
it but by them taking and distributing other possibly
pre-copywrited material that could open their asses for a
world of trouble

Well quite, its a bit of a false leap. i think its fair to
say that the two are connected but in a very loose and
roundabout way. the problem is that monopolies are hard to
regulate.
