Wonderful...

Anyone else excited to get a new proper novel from Mr.
Welsh?
I was not too impressed with PORNO which was his last
one...But I really love his other works.

I'm not excited because a novel requires the reading of
words. This is something I don't like. So to answer your
question after reading it like a novel, turn left at the
lights and cross the street and you will find the egg.

Like Oasis and Aphex Twin, we don't need any more 90s
throwbacks.

trainspotting was the sloppiest clockwork orange-biter i've
read.

I actually thought Porno was pretty good. Only thing I
disliked about it was the rather "cinematic" climax; he's
practically crying out for someone to buy the film rights
and do it/market it as a trainspotting sequel. I've only
read that, Trainspotting and Filth (my favourite one) by
him. I'm looking forwards to this (although it sounds like
he's going soft in his old age from the description of the
book). Any of his books I've not read that you'd
particularly recommend?

for CERI JC -well-I liked his Extacy 3 novels-though they
might seem yea-childish and sensitive-tery-lol-but
nice-Porno iread in russian-so cant say anything about real
literary atmosphere-Trainspotting is REALY GOOD
