But I can pretend
The sun is gone
But I have a light
The day is done
But I'm having fun
I think I'm dumb
Or maybe just happy

one symbol for all possible answers..... 18, 27, 36, 45 etc
etc

offline unabomber from Palma de Mallorca (Spain) on 2006-05-25 05:04 [#01906622]

Not all numbers are possible outputs of the math operation
you do.
All possible output numbers share the same symbol.
That's all.

I did it the first two time, it worked. The second time I
just picked a number at random, hit next twice, got a
different symbol, and it fucking worked again. this utterly
confounds me.

i played one where it always resulted in one symbol. but
this one changes, and everytime its correct.

Oh, it has something to do with the position and movement of
the mouse pointer.

Yah. If you dont move the mouse, it will usually pick a
symbol closest to it.

the symbols cycle a bit for results to look differently but
if you look at the symbols table, you'll see your symbol
occurring several times

offline Mr Brazil from Oh Joan, I love you so... on 2006-05-25 05:22 [#01906645]

All the answers get the same symbol and sometimes the symbol
changes. America goes to sleep now...snore

yeah, but it's still based on the odds of that number, which
although very likely, can be wrong at times. It's just alot
more elusive when you're on a freaky roll. heh

same with me, so this game is only meant to capture the
attention of people like us on a winning streak. if i played
this and it was wrong the first time, it would lose it's
allure instantly.

Maybe it's about the time you need to do the little
calculus. Doing 84-(8+4) takes more time than doing 23-(2+3)
maybe.

It didn't work for me. =|

how the fuck does this work. yes they change, but how is
knowing that you are choosing 9 instead of say, 11?

*sigh*

No matter what number you choose to start with the answer
you get after the calculation is always a multiple of 9.
Therefore the only symbols you will be choosing are those
representing 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72 and 81. All these
have the same symbol as each other. Always. The specific
symbol changes each time for all those numbers, but they are
always the same symbol as each other. The other symbols are
irrelevent as you will never choose them.

10-(1+0)=9
11-(1+1)=9
12-(1+2)=9
......

and so on....
The only possible answers are 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81
whatever you choose
