turning point in (the appreciation of) electronic music?

i'd elaborate, but i'm sure plenty of others here can do

well its just electronic music as a term doesnt really
denote anything. its a bit generic like acoustic music. it
doesnt say much.

i think the whole situation has reached a critical mass.
long and short term trends have shifted. while most people
are probably not happy about it, it's actually a very good
sign. more people are beginning to appreciate the music
they prefer.
