Ok. Its this movie, Napoleon dynamite. Its pretty funny, and as you can see from the t-shirt, it has its own cult following. About the track (random thoughts): Always when i listen to your stuff, i dont know what to make of it. Its a pretty unique sound. It always sounds really organic. Like it could have been played with real instruments you know? But its good. But maybe it needs to evolve more, i dont know. I love the sounds, wich i think is really important. It sort of sounds like a soundtrack to a movie. Maybe it would be cooler to have the guitar bits played for real, instead of a sample, and some more organic/dirty drums would suit it well. |

about the track [though i don't know what the title] : the music just flew, i didn't notice when it ended. as usual, i put this free track in my "free pedro tracks" folder and i'm waiting for the next one. but this one track hasn't made me go "yay", it rather made me go "hmmm". good luck ! |

"The Large/Huge Head" it's named after a rather silly character in my lectures.. he is thoroughly stupid and only "knows" (I'd call it memorize) what he's read; he is unable to apply anything he's read to anything else other than by comparison and he seems to not care about whether or not something is true.. he's also known for holding opposite views without realising it (I believe this to be because he's only memorizing stuff and not learning and understanding it...). When he raises his hand at lectures, it is to spew out "extra (excess) information" that no-one cares about and that mostly isn't even relevant. |

thanks! Yeah, I know it sounds a bit empty, but that's partly because it's a beat, and I don't have an MC... I'd love to have someone proper skilled for rapping on some of my songs, but skills are hard to come by (especially in norway where every fourteenyearold seems to believe he's an awesome rapper). the guitar is kind of played for real (by swift_jams), it's just that I have looped two different bits on top of each other... the piano towards the end is also played for real (by me), it's just that I've looped one small bit with some filtering to make it sound kind of hip-hop ish... |

haha, yeah, we probably should do a proper collab (arranging that shouldn't be hard.. you're on my msn aren't you?), but it's also quite possible I'll keep sampling parts of your jams whenever you post them if I feel so inspired.. will always consult you when there's a "product" though. |
