"The booklet to his +/- CD on Touch suggests that the title
piece "has a particular sonority whose quality is determined
by one's listening point in relation to the loudspeakers...
the sound signals can be thought of in the same way as light
is made spotlight.""

did anybody listen this?

the wave coming out of speaker system bounces the walls, and
creates different music in different places in room. play it
loud and walk around the room. you'll see what i mean :)

I love the inventiveness of Ikeda's work... the physics and
math involved within the tracks really speak of the
synthetic nature of his music and the combination of the
natural physics of the world and the synthetic tones is such
a fresh concept within music...

no. it works only on original cd quality as it is specially
recorded pure sine wave deformed only lightly just to make
proper effect. compression kills that effect though.

dunno. i dont know if flac does have any kind of
compression. the best way to check it is to play it loud and
walk around.
