ok show. i guess i am deaf now because that was so loud,
barely any low-range

its kinda like a car stereo. would you blast some loud music
on stock speakers? prolly not it would just kinda sound
rude. people got to upgrade their systems around here

its just too much mid and high and etc. i havent been to a
lot of concerts (im only 3 years bein 18+) but often the
suond is just like having your ears sandpapered. yeah youre
getting a lot of sound woo woo but there is no OOMPH,
basslines sound like cardboard rubbing against itsself

its a big mashup of songs and beats, real fast. thats kinda
it. it was 'immature' i guess? it was what it was. there
were a few really cool parts that sounded like old remixed
1992 action-movie-suspense-themes. i was real into that. he
played a basscadet mashup/remix and it sounded real good,
some ak1200, rapping+vocals thrown around everywhere.

i asked him how he got his kaoss pad to fuk up just a single
track in ableton while the other kept going but he wouldnt
tell me!

i barely get to see electronic shows man, i live in dallas
and theyre rare here . about systems and etc. the thing
that's ruined it for me is more well known guys who aren't
that good can afford to bring their own systems or play at
places that have superb ones... and guys who are real
outside-the-box usually can't, weird balance there

considering what i've heard of kid606's sound, it doesn't
surprise me that there was no low range whatsoever. i
imagine it was rather loud, which can be good sometimes, but
hell, why exclude bass?

did you see squarepusher when he was at trees?

hmmmm ? HMMMMM ?

shitty sound system, perhaps? then again, Down with the
Scene was very high pitched and grating so maybe that's just
his style, I've never seen him live although I'd like to as
he's a cool cat and a good looking dude with some
unbelievable music. I've really enjoyed all his records over
the years.
