I'm just litening to this now, rediscovering it all again after so long. This is such a brilliant, underrated album imo, there really isn't one song that isn't 10/10 on the entire two discs, the flow is just so great too.
The Orb really are amazing with samples, especially in "Into thr Fourth Dimension" with that voice telling of voyager's discovery of new worlds, and then just gently soaring into that choir - so so nice :)
So dig it up again and have a listen! Its great to do anything to - study, work, relax...

Also, did anyone notice that the reggae sample that comes in at 2:12 on 'Outlands' is the same one used on Leftism track 8, but slowed down a bit?

this album is classic. my favorite orb album.
it was kind-of my gateway into electronic music over 10 years ago.

a true classic but, in my opinion the classification is: 1) Orbus terrarum 2) U.F. Orb 3) Adventures beyond.....

I started with the ultra world remix (excursions) CD first, by mistake. The original is awesomer of course. I remember picking it up because I recognised the Pink Floyd power station on the cover. The live double CD is great too.

I wish I'd bought the 12" version of Huge Ever Growing Brain... but the LP version is still good.

i know those early tracks from The Orb - Live 93 [2CD] album.
i wonder how much they differ from studio versions, i'll give this album a listen then. a careful listen, i should say.
