I recently just got into this program and i'm loving the
possiblities it has. I was just wondering if any of you
hardcore users know if its possible to load up a break or
just any clip and set up trigger points on it, either with
that impulse device or something else...so i can trigger it
via my m-audio trigger finga

you can load your audio file, make a copy of it for each
slice you want, set the loop points, then drag the clips
into impulse

you can drag them into an audio track in the session view
from the file browser, or drag and drop from windowz

you can then setup keyboard letters 'a' 'b' etc to trigger
different breaks / hits and have a jam!

This will probably seem like a stupid question... but I'm
using Ableton Live Lite 6 (came with an m-audio box I
bought), and I can't figure out, for the life of me, how to
get drum notes into the sequencer. I can record with the
synths just fine, but is it because I'm using Live LITE that
I'm having problems doing this? I'll load up one of those 8
(or so) sample drum player things, but I can't get the notes
into the sequencer. please help.

Make a new midi clip (right click on an empty space in the
live view) and then go into draw mode (click the pencil near
the play/stop/record on the transport bar). You can now
sequence teh massive IDM beatzzz.
