the new Nightmares on wax works excellent with a beer and a
low sun over the ocean! Same goes for the other of NoWs
funkier releases. Otherwise, I'd have to say just about
anything by A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Outkast (up until
speakerboxx/love below) and The Roots. Furthermore, Cee-Lo -
Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections, Prefuse 73 - One
Word Extinguisher, Xploding Plastix' Donca Matic Singalongs
and Amateur Girlfriends, Kool and The Gang - Summer madness
12", Thelonious Monk - It's Monks Time, Serge Gainsbourg -
Initials BB, Esbjørn Svensson Trio - Strange Place for
Snow, Aim - Hinterland, Elektrofant - Flipstick EP.. and
probably many more.

i like the fall in spring and summer. been on a total fall
kick recently.
"there's a party goin' on around here
cruiser's creek! yeeaaahhhh..."

funny, now all i can think of is fall and winter music.

agreed on "go hawaii," it exudes summer vibes, especially
midwestern summer vibes, the buzz of airplanes and cicadas,
wind in the trees and a warm breeze...

new cvsj this fall, btw (hopefully).

Harpers Bizarre- Anything Goes
The High Llamas- Buzzle Bee
Freescha- What's Come Inside You?
Todd Rundgren- A Wizard, a True Star
Van Dyke Parks- Song Cycle
Magnetic Fields- Charm of the Highway Strip
The Soft Boys- Underwater Moonlight (I think?)
Kris Kristofferson- Silver Tongued Devil and I

And I listen to a lot of flaky pop during the spring/summer.
It just takes over some days and drives me nuts.

I find the question as intelligible as 'What albums do you
associate to what colours?'. Peculiarly, both questions tend
to have answers. SAW85–92 is a Spring album to me.
