I could have had some engineer - geology courses and soil
mechanics courses, but for some reasons i dropped it;)

nooooooooo. i concluded that the environment of deposition
was a mediterranean/semi-arid climate large tidal river
estuary, comparable to the Severn estuary but bigger and
warmer. I could have just got that straight out of a book
instead of spending weeks finding it out.

i actually took geology last semester (physical geology) and
ended up taking historical geology this semester. geology is
not so bad - most consider it to just be a study of rocks,
but it's actually a study of the earth and its history.

i find the permian mass extinction most fascinating. i have
a paper on it due in may. :)
