I want to quit my job. I hate being here but the pay's good, I've applied to other places but I want to get up right now and go home. Ive felt this way for a long time. They fucked me over by not giving me benefits when Ive been here for 3 yrs. 4 in June. I hate it, but I need the money. I know I'm not alone on this-I'm need a other than family/friends opinion. |

you've already answered your own (implied?) question by posting this thread. if you're not happy with what you're doing, find something else - there's far more important things to worry about then pay. |

What sort of job is it, can I ask? I did the best paid job I'd ever had for about a week. I couldn't stand it, sitting in the "IT room", under the air conditioning, listening to these people talk rubbish ALL DAY, the fucking coffee/tea ritual when you were either offered a cup or expected to make one every two minutes, and then the boss who everyone jokes about being incredibly cross and rude to everyone and I just thought "Well I don't have to fucking take this arrogant fucking prick bellowing at me" and I walked away. Plus it was in a shit hole, I hate West London. |

I luv ya dana-dane! :) what if you took a lower paying job? How would that affect your finances? Are you living by yourself or are your expenses split with another individual? I've been in your situation before and time and time again i choose happiness. There is no point in going and doing something you hate just because it pays good money (IMO) I have found it more rewarding to love my job and the people there. It makes it easier to get up in the morning and the days usually go by faster. |

I work at Florida International Univ. Entering transcripts And many other things-they promised me full-time w/benefits. And they arent. Which makes me think Ok, I'll go back to school full time and work part-time here but FACK! I dont get along with anyone, my old bestfriend and i dont speak so this place really blows. Its not even my career job. I want to go back to school full time then start my career not allowing this fuckin rat-hole to bring me down... But then I think "dana, youre moving to fast" |

I'm in this situation, I don't know what to do. Well I would leave, I just can't find anotherr job that'd be any betterr. I'd take less money, but it's not like the drrop would be huge I'm only a couple of quid overr minimum anyway. |
