[amazon] slightly annoying.

i ordered orbital's brown album, i think it was back in
december... the delay (originally 6 to 8 days) got longer
and longer and it eventually took roughly two months to
arrive. and when it arrived, it had the right back cover but
the wrong front cover (a greenish cover with a swordfish and
"WHY?" written on it - i guess it was a cover for one of
Why?'s albums, i don't know him/them well).

a bit annoyed, i send it back to them and ask for
replacement. as i thought, it takes forever to arrive
again... but look at the page for the product...

on my account it still appears as "Orbital 2" but when i
click on the link, it's "Orbital - WHY?". (wtf)

so i guess there are pretty good chances that i get that
flawed version again in some weeks and it kind of pisses me
off. i can cancel the order... but if i do that, i
don't know whether get a refund or not, since it's basically
a 0 € order in my account.

i wish i could ask them but i can't find any e-mail adress
on the site (!)...

so yeah... kind of annoying.
any of you had similar problems?

Have i remembered this wrong, or is the "why" image on the
other side of the front sleeve? It sounds like they just put
your inlay in back to front for some reason. Was the
tracklisting on the inside?

Contacting Amazon is a pain in the arse anyway. I think you
can do it in "Votre Compte", but I'm not sure in which
section then. Usually computers answer you, not human
beings.

Thats the right cover dude. Its just in back to front, you
wally....

I suggest turning the inlay around, crazy fool....

xx

I gave up on sites like Amazon who claim they can get an
album in 4-6 weeks or something, they always extend it
indefinetly

amazon = evil

"amazon = evil"
> why?
i only order cds from them when they're cheap enough,
otherwise i use caiman or dvdlegacy (through amazon
still)... i'm satisfied with it...

record stores like virgin megastore, fnac etc. selling a cd
for 23€ - now that's abusive.

evil = not good = they should work perfect. if not = fuck
them.

works perfectly?

Amazon is grreast. When my postman was stealing (unknown to
me at the time) they sent no less than 4 copies of the CD
out to me. Which I could have kept, but I sent them back
when the police gave them to me.

amazon is too expensive. I only use it for books.

For all cds(except obscure ones), I use cduniverse.
