Anything chinese always sounds good to me.

I know this great place that has (IMO) the best egg rolls.

Also worth noting is the Fridays (brand) Southwestern Egg
Rolls which are quote "bomb as a mofo"

Earlier we had half and half chinese and thai! It was
boiled chicken with green peppers and green onion, coconut
milk, chili, carrots, spinach and potatoes boiled in it all!
It was creamy + it made you sweat. It made beer taste
3Xtasty and television fun for a bit.

it's hard to get a bad egg roll, even at the crummy chinese
places. i like the ones that are a bit spicy. :)

but yeah, jivver makes a good point - thai rocks quite hard.
red curry chicken, please.

I need to branch off more.

I have this problem that i order Sweet and Sour Pork (except
now i have decided that pork is bad for people health wise)
and Seseme Chicken. I really need to try new things but i
have this sinking feeling that i will order something that
sucks and waste a certain amount of money.

I admit that i havent had thai. Its notably hotter right? I
am kind of in the mood for that. Although $10 says i either
dont eat until tomorrow or make something stupid tonight.

I think the meats minus the boar will be used in a stew
which would be perfect for the weather here 30f.

If i dont order chinese i think i may feel gipped. Perhaps i
shall try to make a rice oriented dish.

*jots off to foodnetwork website in search of recepes*

duck = yum

The pineapple fried rice sounds interesting. I rarely eat
pineapple. Infact i rarely eat fruit. I am trying to change
that.

sweet + spicy would be ideal but if i am making that i think
i would end up with spicy as opposed to sweet. (force of
habit)

duck's too expensive, we can't keep living like this kaleb,
with your fucking head in the clouds

you squander all your money on yourself.. all my money too;
sometimes i think you don't love me any more

I ordered one that just had too many veggies. The ratio of
meats to veggies was wrong, the taste of the wrap that it
was in was wrong and something just wasnt right.

My tastebuds are maturing more nowadays. Perhaps things have
changed.

What is the ideal order of arf at an asian restruant?

:O

:'(

I have been saving for a tremendous gift. I didnt want to
tell you because i wanted it to be a surprise.

Duck is expensive sometimes. Which is why i should hunt it
myself. I think that would be fun.

French Onion soup would be good right now

there's a focus on curry in the food.

Although $10 says i either dont eat until tomorrow or
make something stupid tonight.

the main problem with thai is it is quite expensive... so
delicious, though...

you should take a risk and try something new. ;)

Thai is a bit of lemongrass, coconut milk, ginger and chili
to taste. Honestly you'll love it! As long as you mix those
in, it's like a perfect indian curry. It'll blow your socks
off + you'll feel full, + it's all full of nutrients! Haha!
I mean it though.

Ha! Dead accurate! The first search conducted made me
imediately find this recipe: Thai Coconut Soup
with Lemon Grass and Sugarcane Chicken Dumplings

It sounds pretty good. I will definately be seeking a thai
restruant in my area for perhaps lunch tomorrow!

Im sure by now you've already eaten. Therefore its sort of
pointless to ask what youre in the mood to eat. I alos see
youre pretty enthused about thai, so I cant really be of
much service since Im bored to death with thai food right
now. Allthough, if you need help with hispanic food Im
probably your best bet on this message board.

Allez cuisine!

ok, here's what you do

buy yourself a (1,5-2kg) trout
get 5kgs of large grained salt
get stuff that goes with trout (sour cream, lemon, spices,
potatoes, whatever)

take one of those plates in your oven.. the whole ones.. put
aluminum foil in the bottom and use some of the salt to make
a "bed" (cover the bottom of the plate).

the fish should be whole (gut it and shit, but don't remove
any of its skin or its head or tail (unless the fish is so
large that it sticks out from the plate)). put spices and
maybe a bit of sour cream and lemon and stuff in the middle
of it and place it on the salt. cover the fish with the rest
of the salt (make it so that there are no bare spots;
everything should be covered. put it into the oven for..
well, I think it's about one hour, but maybe more.. to check
if the fish is done, you'll have to chop off a bit of the
salt (it'll be hard) by the spine of the fish and see if the
fish meat "lets go" of the bone if you try to lift it a bit
(place the bit of salt back if it's not done yet).

(silly note: also cook your potatoes and other
stuff-on-the-side while you're doing this)

when it's done, use something hard and chop off all the salt
covering the fish and enjoy!
