it looks like they blur the background so it seems out of
proportion and out of focus compared to the rest. aswell as
something to lesson the finer details on the main objects to
give it that miniture feel.

it also uses a very precise depth of field.

in some of the pictures the for grounds is blurry, then it's
fine, then the backgorund get's blurry again.

i'm not impressed, you could just make real mintures.

even if its just tricks and you could just make miniatures,
i reckon theres something impressive and cool about this.

the lenses don't have to cost a lot - there's a Kiev company
called Harblei who make t/s lenses that cost 1/3 what the
Canon or Nikon equivalents do and they're just as good. I
have two myself (65mm and 35mm)...
