Novation X-Station

I made a thread about this a little while back, but nothing
solid came up. I am listing it on ebay. I put a BIN on it
for $400 us, but if anybody here uses BIN, I will knock the
BIN down $50, and pay the first $15 in shipping (in effect
making it $335 us). Its in good condition, and needs to go
to someone with a DAW that is in use.

does hardware of novation sound the same as the software?

I am not sure. The hardware is very polite sounding
analgue-ish. You can tell its virtual analogue, but it
sounds better than most software out there, definatley.

If your asking whether it has the same nasily sound than
most software, no, it doesn't. But if you were to try to
make the filter scream with resonance, you won't get any
wonderfully nasty filter sweeps off of this. It sounds very
demur. You can get wonderful arps and pads off of it tho,
and it does bass very well. Calling their synthesizers
liquid sounding is very much spot on.
